Fidji Simo was the CEO of Applications at OpenAI, later retitled CEO of AGI Deployment, leading its product and business teams until she announced a move to a part-time advisory role in 2026. Before that she was CEO of Instacart from 2021 to 2025 and spent about a decade at Facebook, including as head of the Facebook app.
