SideQuest runs an alternative app store and community for virtual reality headsets, starting with the Meta (Oculus) Quest, where developers can distribute apps and games outside the official store. The company runs Banter, a social VR platform, and in 2026 acquired the rights to the AltspaceVR name to relaunch it.
