What happened
Lovable, the Swedish "vibe coding" startup, brought in the three founders of Nalvin, a Stockholm-based AI agent platform formerly called Version Lens. Dealroom News said the deal was announced on 29 July 2026; Tech.eu reported it on 31 July. Tech.eu named the founders as Pontus Gifvas, Fredrik Stockman and Pascal Chatterjee and said the deal appeared to resemble an acqui-hire, in which a company buys a startup mainly for its talent. Financial terms were not disclosed, and neither source gives a price, share terms or a closing date.
Tech.eu said Nalvin was founded in 2023, built a platform of AI agents that automate repetitive business tasks, and raised EUR 1.5m in pre-seed funding in 2024 from People Ventures, Curiosity and Pitchdrive. Lovable chief executive Anton Osika said he really liked the founders and that four teams of deep technical founders had joined Lovable since it started. Tech.eu described Lovable as last valued at $6.6bn and reportedly in talks to raise $300m at a $13.2bn valuation, and noted that it acquired cloud infrastructure provider Molnett in November 2025. Dealroom said Lovable was on an acquisition hunt.
