Xu Li is the co-founder, executive chairman and chief executive officer of SenseTime, a Hong Kong-listed artificial intelligence company. Before SenseTime he was a research scientist at Lenovo and a postdoctoral fellow at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he earned his doctorate in 2010.
