Tom Knight

Ginkgo Fellow, Ginkgo Bioworks

Tom Knight is a co-founder of Ginkgo Bioworks, a Boston-based company developing autonomous labs to accelerate bioengineering, where he serves as a Ginkgo Fellow supporting research and development for its foundry. He is a former senior research scientist at MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and was involved in forming Permabit and Exa Corporation in the early 1990s.
