Tang Xiao'ou

Tang Xiao'ou was a co-founder and executive director of SenseTime, a Chinese artificial intelligence company established in 2014, until his death in December 2023. He was a professor of information engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he founded the Multimedia Laboratory in 2001, and worked at Microsoft Research Asia from 2005 to 2008.
