Samar Abbas is the co-founder and CEO of Temporal, an open-source workflow platform that helps long-running applications survive system failures. He previously co-created the Cadence workflow engine at Uber and worked on Amazon Simple Workflow Service and Microsoft's Durable Task Framework.
