Patrick Collison is co-founder and CEO of Stripe, the payments infrastructure company he started with his brother John in 2010. Born in Limerick, Ireland, he won the BT Young Scientist award in 2005 and sold his first startup, Auctomatic, in 2008. He co-founded the Arc Institute, joined Meta's board in 2025 and co-chairs the Rhine Group with Mario Draghi.
