Maxim Fateev is a co-founder and the CTO of Temporal, an open-source workflow platform that helps long-running applications survive system failures. He previously built the Cherami messaging system and co-created the Cadence workflow engine at Uber, and spent eight and a half years at Amazon leading the architecture of AWS Simple Workflow Service.
