Jason Gardner is the founder of Marqeta, a card-issuing and payment-processing platform, which he led as chief executive from 2010 to January 2023 and where he remains a director. Earlier he co-founded PropertyBridge, a rent and lease payment platform acquired by MoneyGram in 2007, and founded the IT management firm Vertical Think.
