Jaan Tallinn

Co-founder and Board Member, Future of Life Institute

Jaan Tallinn is an Estonian computer programmer and investor who co-founded the Future of Life Institute and the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk, and sits on the institute's board. He was a founding engineer of Skype and the Kazaa file-sharing application, and in 2021 he led Anthropic's $124 million Series A round.
