Gavin Uberti

Co-founder and CEO, Etched

Gavin Uberti is the co-founder and CEO of Etched, which builds Sohu, a chip designed only to run transformer AI models. He left Harvard to start the company in 2022 with Chris Zhu and Robert Wachen, after compiler work at OctoML and Xnor.ai. In August 2026 Etched raised $700 million at a $21 billion valuation, led by its first customer, Jane Street.
