Charlwin Mao, also known as Mao Wenchao, is the co-founder and chief executive of Xiaohongshu, the Shanghai-based social content and e-commerce platform also known as RedNote. Earlier he worked at Bain & Company and Bain Capital after graduating from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2007, before co-founding the company with Miranda Qu in 2013.
